Survivor is built on a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame clad in rugged, shock absorbing silicone. A built-in screen protector seals your Multi-Touch display from the outside environment, while hinged plugs seal the dock connector, headphone port, hold switch, camera, and volume controls. Survivor is independently tested to meet or exceed environmental testing standards for blown rain, blown dust and grit, vibration, shock, temperature and humidity.

Featuring independently tested to meet conditions outlined in US Department of Defense MIL-STD-810, integral Display shield deflects wind and rain (Test: up to 200 mm/hr for 1 hour), rigid internal frame protects against shocks and drops (Test: drop on flat concrete surface from 6'/1.8 m), etc.

This product has done everything as stated. It was easy to install which is good. The cover is very light weight and it has been great product . It is not too bulky and easy for them to handle. There is no distortion with the screen protector and no issues with swipe gestures.

The case is hard plastic/polycarbonate with vents for the speakers and access ports for the camera, volume, power and control buttons. Everything is accessible, but also protected from dust and moisture.
There is a protective screen that is tight enough to allow fingers to slide without much interference on the display.

If you have children with an iPad this is the case for you. This case is easy to put on and works well. This works great with the young kids as it is not too bulky but still provides the protection needed from the drops and sticky fingers.

It feels good in your hands, protects the iPad and the stand works great without getting in the way when you aren't using it. Sturdy and child proof, protects the iPad Air when it is dropped. It is a great item to get when several people are using it. You retain full functionality of the iPad yet you are confident it is protected. Have not exposed it to water but would not be concerned if it got water on it.

The Survivor case is serious protection for your apple devices. It's a great case, looks good on iPad, offers good protection, easy to get on/off for cleaning. Has a comfortable feel in your hand. Does an excellent job of protecting all ports and well protected on all corners.
